John Gengarella

CEO

John has run B2B software companies for over two decades, including VP and General Manager at Siebel Systems, CEO at Voxify, Chief Revenue Officer at 24[7], Vice President at C3 Energy, CEO at Netpulse, and CEO at Owsy. John also has experience owning and running nationally-known hospitality and restaurant businesses.He is passionate about Contract Wrangler because John has seen numerous instances where timely understanding of key contract terms was the key to unlocking new revenue and cutting expenses. Brian Bartell

CTO

Brian Bartell has been building text analytics, machine learning, and content normalization systems for 27 years, and is particularly excited about Contract Wrangler’s challenges in this area. In the past he has been CTO at search engine marketer Covario and academic publisher Content Scan, as well as founder of text analytics tools developer Notiora (text analytics; founder) and a research engineer search engine developer Verity and Encyclopaedia Britannica. Brian holds a PhD in Computer Science from UC San Diego and multiple patents in the field of text analytics. Brian does some of his best creative thinking on long distance backpacking trips, ranging from the John Muir Trail to advanced base camp Everest in Tibet.... Show more

VP of Product

Dr. Farshad Samimi is the VP of Product at Contract Wrangler. He has extensive product, technology, and strategy experiences, having served as a product lead for various companies at different stages of growth. Farshad specializes in creating best-of-breed products which combine software and partnership ecosystems into disruptive solutions that improve our lives. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University, where he conducted pioneering work on cloud and mobile computing. Farshad lives in San Francisco with his wife and two lovely daughters and enjoys hiking, yoga, and Latin and Lindy Hop dancing.... Show more

VP of Engineering

Pavan is an innovative, passionate, top-performing Engineering Executive with outstanding leadership, communication and negotiation skills; complemented by over 19 years of experience in the strategy, planning, design, development, quality and operations of cutting edge software solutions at Symantec, X-Time, Macys.com, IBM, and elsewhere. Neil Peretz

General Counsel

Neil Peretz knows firsthand the challenges of managing too many contracts as General Counsel for multiple fast-growing venture-backed financial services companies, including Aliya Financial Technologies and Better Finance. Neil's passion for developing software to solve real world problems dates back to the time before he practiced law, when he was co-founder and CEO of PocketMail Group, which launched the first ever affordable mobile email service, and then COO and CFO of Libraria/Sertanty, which used computer models to predict novel chemistries.Neil holds law degrees from the UCLA School of Law and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (where he was a Fulbright Scholar), Bachelors and Masters degrees from Tufts University, and a Specialization Certificate from the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.... Nick is a tech-oriented enterprise sales leader with comprehensive experience in building foundational, early-stage SaaS platforms. With over a decade of sales experience in Silicon Valley, he has built and mentored teams through compelling sales, marketing, and product development strategies. Drawing upon his experience at Google and SurveyMonkey, Nick excels in leading the collaboration between technical and commercial functions to deliver scalable revenue streams. Most recently, he led SurveyMonkey's Enterprise go-to-market sales efforts, influencing a successful IPO in 2018. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wheaton College.
